How to Keep Kids Engaged During Summer Break

Every morning you have to wake up to the enormous task of getting your kid ready for school. You get their clothes ready, make and serve breakfast, pack lunch and drop them off at their school – all of this while trying to make it in time for your early morning meeting at work. 1. Teach them how to make money.
If your kid is a teenager, have him start a mini car-wash in the neighbourhood. You can give out a one-pager pamphlet around the block or stick them to poles. It’s a good practice to read books that is outside their school curriculum so that they can get exposed to new material. To make the experience more worthwhile, get your kid interested in foreign books so they can get a peek into other countries and cultures, thereby broadening their horizon. 3. Include sports in your kid’s daily routine.
